About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our Seniors Living team. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities tailored to their individual physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver personal care and emotional support to residents, including mobility assistance, participation in activities, meal support, and social outings.?
- Provide medication assistance as per competency standards.?
- Collaborate in developing and reviewing resident care plans; accurately document and report any health changes to the nursing team.?
- Uphold the dignity, respect and privacy of residents, ensuring all interactions are respectful and confidential.?
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and secure environment for all residents.?
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and serving of meals.?
- Perform delegated tasks as assigned by Registered or Enrolled Nurses.?
- Work in accordance with and adhere to the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care in all duties.

Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.?
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar setting is highly desirable.
- A strong commitment to person-centred care and ensuring the well-being of residents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and their families.?
- Compassion, respect and patience in caring for elderly residents.
- Completion of HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication is desirable.?
- Certificate IV in Ageing Support and a current First Aid and CPR certificate are advantageous.?
- Current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain one.
