Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language therapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations for NDIS participants.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care, using evidence-based practices and policies.
- Collaborate with participants, carers, and professionals across medical, nursing, and allied health to provide holistic care.
- Provide community-based services, visiting schools and homes to support NDIS participants across the lifespan.
- Uphold and promote the organisation's core values, representing a positive image in all interactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy and current SPA registration.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
- Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including psychosocial disabilities, as well as families and carers.
- Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and empowerment of participants.
- Ability to provide advanced clinical advice and mentorship to peers and support staff.
- Experience in quality improvement and research activities is an advantage.
