About the Position
We are offering exciting opportunities to be part of our Airport Services team, with two key roles available. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking part-time or casual work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Aviation Screening Officer (JA.389) – Part-Time and Casual Roles Available
A critical frontline security role, responsible for screening passengers and baggage in line with aviation security standards. This position suits individuals with excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Part-Time Hourly Rate: $35.27 – $40.77 (plus leave entitlements)
Expected part-time hours: approx. 40 hours per fortnight
Casual Hourly Rate: $44.09 – $50.96 (plus super)
Expected casual hours: approx. 20 hours per fortnight
- Flexible work hours required, including weekends and public holidays
- Career development opportunities within airport operations
- Certificate II in Security Operations, or willingness to undertake training.
Aviation Screening X-Ray Loader Officer (JA.391) – Casual Role
Casual Hourly Rate: $38.06 – $44.09 (plus super)
Expected casual hours: approx. 40 hours per fortnight
This hands-on role focuses on the first stage of the screening process, including baggage loading, passenger preparation assessment, and ensuring smooth screening operations. No prior certification is required.
