pplications are invited from individuals interested in joining our team of Cleaners in a Part-time positions at the Shire of Morawa.
The Shire of Morawa is committed to providing clean and safe facilities for the community and visitors.
Hours of work will be based on a minimum of 22 hours per week (44 hours per fortnight), with regular shifts scheduled from Tuesday to Friday. Actual working hours may vary depending on the usage of Council facilities. Applicants must be willing to take on additional shifts on non-rostered days during periods of increased demand or special events
On job training is provided. This position is classified as a Level 2 under the Municipal Employees (Western Australia) Award 2021.
Skills required for this position:
- Reasonable level of fitness.
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work both alone and in a team.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Reading skills for following instructions.
- Math skills for measuring cleaning fluids.
- Ability to complete online chemical handling training and
- Ability to complete online Safety Induction for Shire of Morawa
