About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidence based clinical psychology services as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers of Redcliffe-Caboolture Child and Youth Mental Health Service (RC-CYMHS) who experience severe and complex mental health disorders, their carers and relevant stakeholders. Care is delivered with a focus on consumer and carer needs by providing assessment, formulation, planning, clinical care and therapeutic interventions within Recovery Oriented, Developmental, Systemic, Attachment, Trauma Informed and Sociocultural frameworks.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Develop, deliver and evaluate education and skills-based training for carers and families of young people with complex mental health disorders.
  • Engage in varied and complex inter-sectoral linking and liaison with relevant stakeholders and partnerships, including communication and interpretation of complex clinical information to secure the service needs of consumers.
  • Monitor and report on clinical practice and outcomes within the clinical service area including supporting the achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Contribute to research to provide information for use in planning or evaluation of consumer programs and service delivery functions.
