The opportunity
The Learning & Development Officer will support the team by managing various tasks, including maintaining Warrigal’s Learning Management System and ensuring learning data is up to date. The role involves assisting with the coordination of onboarding, induction, and training programs, as well as supporting student work placements and the Undergraduate Nurse Program. You will work with different teams to support learning initiatives focused on developing, retaining, and engaging the workforce. Other responsibilities include managing shared inboxes, updating learning content, organising training logistics, and assisting with organisational development activities.
This position is based at Warrigal Central in Oak Flats, with occasional travel to other sites, including the Southern Highlands and ACT.

Essential
- Proven experience in training coordination or administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete documentation to a high standard.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- A current NSW driver’s license.
- Qualifications or experience in Human Resources or a related business discipline.
- Experience in change management and process improvement.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems or learning technologies.
- Experience in a medium-to-large multi-site organisation.
- Understanding of Warrigal’s values and commitment to applying them in practice.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
- Adaptability in approach to duties within the role’s scope.
