Join Ebury as a Payments Operations Graduate in Sydney, ensuring seamless financial transactions and client service.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Instruction and initial verification of client payments in line with internal processes and SLAs.
  • Completion of payment beneficiaries according to internal processes.
  • Assisting clients with transaction-related questions via email, phone, and chat.
  • Taking and acting on client instructions offline, adhering to internal processes.
  • Demonstrating end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Creating and manually enriching transaction reporting files.
  • Reconciling client funds, FX settlements, and internal cash movements.
  • Investigating unallocated or non-received funds and escalating as needed.
  • Funding client trades requiring manual intervention.
  • Checking payment statuses on third-party platforms, including SWIFT GPI.
  • Conducting basic updates on client information.
  • Communicating task status to colleagues and escalating issues promptly.
  • Adhering to internal policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Meeting quality standards and SLAs.

About you

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
  • Good office etiquette, punctuality, and behavior.
  • Proactivity and ability to work under pressure within strict time-frames.
  • Diligence and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to understanding processes.
  • Motivation to contribute to Ebury's success.
  • Business fluency in English; Mandarin and Cantonese are advantageous but not required.
