Join Tetra Tech Coffey in Perth as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, working on diverse projects in mining, tailings, and infrastructure.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Engaging in the full project lifecycle from site investigations to geotechnical analysis and reporting.
- Working on projects involving tailings storage facilities, mine site geotechnics, earthworks, and slope stability.
- Developing technical and consulting skills while engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Participating in both fieldwork and office-based assessments.
- Collaborating with senior geotechnical engineers across Western Australia.
About you
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Up to two years’ experience in geotechnical investigations (graduates welcome to apply).
- An understanding of soil and rock logging, in situ testing, and monitoring instruments.
- Exposure to tailings, mine site geotechnics, earthworks, and slope stabilization (valued but not essential).
- A willingness to travel to mine sites and remote project locations.
- An interest in developing management, business development, and analytical skills.
