Join Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division as an Intern - Data Analyst in Brisbane, Australia, to work with large datasets and influence business decisions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Collection: Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Data Analysis: Use statistical methodologies and analytical tools to analyze large data sets, identify trends, patterns, and provide actionable insights.
- Reporting: Create clear and concise visualizations and reports to present findings to key stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize a variety of analytical tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau) for data analysis, reporting, and visualization tasks.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in data analysis, particularly using Salesforce and other CRM tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong command of programming languages, including Python and R, for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in Sales Operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with database management and SQL query languages.
