The Role
Sheoak Grove PS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education teacher to join our team. The successful applicant should be able to plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Additionally, the applicant should possess the professional knowledge necessary to assess and report on student progress in line with school and curriculum guidelines.
The successful applicant should also be able to display the expertise required to explicitly teach students how to develop and apply personal, social, psychological, and cognitive skills and strategies that enhance self-identity and wellbeing, while fostering and maintaining respectful relationships in the context of physical activity.
Furthermore, the ideal applicant should display the ability to engage professionally with colleagues and contribute as a productive member of an active specialist professional learning community.
