Description:
This Account Manager role will take ownership of managing the existing portfolio and provide exceptional client service to uphold client's insurance programs.
On monthly basis you will be engaging your clients and insurers on all mediums submitting risks and slips to market.
A key part of your role will be tasked with building new connections, maintaining current relationships and contributing further leads to the wider business.
Responsibilities
- Influence stakeholders both in person and through other channels (phone, email etc.)
- Manage renwals of existing clients and bring new business.
- Preparation and management of risk submissions, risk identification to your partners.
- Leverage and expand your network (insurers, coverholders and clients/third parties) looking to constantly grow your relationships
- Promote the brand actively, contributing to the industry through conferences and events, leveraging the opportunity to network and educate your target audience on specialist products/risks
- Ensure you are compliant with regulatory standards and follow internal policy
- Full client management with proactive thinking, assistance with claims and administration
Candidate Profile
- You are a motivated and experienced insurance broker, looking to specialise and grow your earning potential. Preferably handling commercial products, construction products or have managed clients in the Primary Industry sector.
- This industry knowledge will allow you to hold credibility retain complex clients. You will be an effective communicator, excited to engage your clients head on and be a driving force for service excellence.
- Being a team player, helping and sharing knowledge where needed, elevating the divisions potential.
- A detail-orientated mindset is key as is written and verbal communication - not afraid to put themselves out there from behind the keyboard.
- With this approach you will naturally grow a diverse client book and have ambition to progress higher up to promotions.
- Experience with areas such as Contracts, Public & Product Liability, Motor/Fleet, Mobile Plant & Equipment
