About the role:
Join the dynamic team at Kitchens U Build' as a Showroom Sales Designer. This full-time role based in Bayswater VIC, will see you playing a key part in providing exceptional customer service and design solutions for our clients looking to create their dream kitchens.
The purpose of this position is delivering outstanding quality customer service and providing design solutions for our clients looking to create their dream kitchen. The key objective will be to maximise showroom revenue; deliver, and ideally exceed the outcomes required to meet the overall company sales objectives.
This is a full-time role, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. A weekly RDO (Rostered Day Off) is also included.
Your key responsibilities will be:
· Achieve individual and team store targets
· Follow our sales methodology in our design and sales process
· Assisting customers in the showroom, answering enquiries and guiding them through the design process
· Utilising your design skills to create customised kitchen plans and proposals that meet the needs of each client
· Providing expert advice on kitchen materials, finishes and appliances to help customers make informed decisions
· Coordinating with the production team to ensure timely delivery and installation of kitchens
· Maintaining an organised and visually appealing showroom
· Travelling to client homes for consultations and measures
Essential Skills and Experience:
· Proven experience in a customer-facing retail or design role, preferably within the home improvement or kitchen industry
· Strong design skills and the ability to use ArtiCAD and Design software to create kitchen plans
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers
· A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and translate customer requirements
· Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to sales targets
· Relevant qualifications in cabinetry design would be highly regarded
· Current Victorian Drivers Licence
