Description:

  • Develop and implement successful fundraising strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising activities.
  • Coordinate fundraising appeals and campaigns from concept development through to print production. This includes working closely with external suppliers and the internal marketing team to produce compelling stories, concepts, copy and design that align with the organisations brand strategy and best practice fundraising.
  • Lead and project manage large end-to-end integrated fundraising campaigns and appeals across multiple channels and segments against ambitious income targets.
  • Plan and implement a series of engagement and retention communications across donors, regular givers and bequest donors including.
  • Identify and test new opportunities to build supporter loyalty, using data analysis and insights to drive communication.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a cash giving program from acquisition through to retention, upgrade and reactivation.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering fundraising appeals and campaigns across multiple channels.
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in marketing, business or other relevant field.
  • Ability to develop strong and engaging copy across a range of fundraising communications.
  • Excellent understanding of Fundraising CRMs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and capacity to liaise effectively with people at all levels of an organisation as well as external suppliers.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong numeracy skills with capacity to manage budgets.
  • Highly organised with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently to manage competing projects.
  • Results-oriented with a solutions-driven approach including a demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex data and fundraising results.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced not-for-profit with an understanding of the Victorian children and family services sector.
