The Research Assistant will be working under the general direction of the Professor of Healthy Ageing Support & Care and alongside associated team members, to provide a range of administrative activities to support data collection and management, basic analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant funded projects within the Caring Futures Institute
The Research Assistant will have proven ability to perform activities across the research pathway, which may include but is not limited to grant/ethics applications, literature reviews, qualitative and/or quantitative data collection and analysis, and report preparation. This role also requires facilitating communications and organising project team meetings, compiling meeting agendas, minutes and reports when required.

You will have the ability to work across diverse teams and work autonomously with well-developed organisational skills that enable you to manage and prioritise tasks whilst meeting tight deadlines.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Ability to work independently and as part of diverse teams and prioritise workload during busy periods. Well-developed computer literacy including demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and applications. Exemplary problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative with sound judgementYou will also have completed a bachelor’s or higher degree in a health or related discipline, and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
