Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservation Agents to deliver exceptional service throughout the reservation and pre-arrival experience. In this role, you will handle guest and agent enquiries with professionalism and warmth, using your sales skills to provide helpful information and secure bookings with accuracy. Your attention to detail, clear communication, and passion for hospitality will ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to total guest satisfaction.
THE ROLE
- Provide seamless and professional service to all guests through email, phone, and in-person interactions, ensuring every communication reflects our Mondrian Brand.
- Cultivate relationships with guests, especially VIPs, by remembering names and preferences to enhance their experience and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with Group bookings as required and liaise with other departments to ensure group requirements and special requests are actioned.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all hotel facilities and promotions, utilising every opportunity to promote offerings and maximise sales through effective communication.
- Ensure accurate control of guest and hotel accounts, guaranteeing timely posting of charges and reconciliation of any discrepancies as required.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in reservations or front office within a luxury hotel.
- Experience working with Opera cloud PMS is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing the most memorable guest experience.
- Impeccable attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work a rotating roster with evening and weekend availability.
- Must have valid Australian Working Rights.
