We are looking for electricians to fill 4 positions and join a rail manufacturer on the afternoon shift!About Us
Alstom, are an international leader in the rail industry, manufacturing a range of products from complete trains to sub-systems, maintenance services, system integration and much more.
They also produce rail transportation including rail vehicles such as monorails, light rail vehicles, commuter/regional trains, high speed trains, and trams. They are all about sustainability and ensuring they are up to date with new technology in the sector.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Line Manager and working on the new tram project (NGT), some of your duties will include:
- Reading electrical schematics.
- Installing and assembling looms and electrical cubicles.
- Building plugs.
- Performing continuity or bell testing.
- Reading and following detailed work instructions.
- Adhering to all established safety procedures.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
- A Cert III in Electrotechnology.
- Previous experience in rail, trucking, or aerospace is highly desirable.
- The ability to work with project deadlines and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- The ability to successfully pass a medical, police check, and other compliance requirements.
