This well-established Japanese trading company specializes in the import and distribution of Steel Products and Non-Ferrous Products to the Australian market. With a strong reputation and a growing customer base, the company is looking to further expand its presence across Australia.Responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while driving new business development. Working within a small and collaborative team, this role requires a proactive and self-motivated sales professional who can identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's growth.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers
- Identify and approach potential new clients in the Australian markete
- Conduct effective sales activities including client visits, presentations, and negotiations
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver customer solutions
- Monitor market trends and provide feedback to management
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records
Your Profile
- Sales experience in the Steel Products or Non-Ferrous Products industry (import/distribution sector preferred)
- Strong business development skills with a proactive sales approach
- Native-level or fluent English language skills
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment
