The Opportunity:
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven social media and content lead with a passion for skincare to join our Marketing Team on a 9-month maternity leave contract . In this role, you will develop and execute the social media strategies across our brands within our B2B and B2C channels.
Your responsibilities will include managing influencer campaigns, content creation, community management, and social ads. You will collaborate with the Brand Manager on photoshoots and PR initiatives, playing a key role in improving Derma Aesthetics’ brand awareness and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the social media strategy to boost engagement, enhance brand awareness, and drive sales conversions across all brands within the B2C channel.
- Manage social influencer campaigns, including gifting, budgets, and UGC content campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals.
- Oversee scheduling of social media posts in Hootsuite on a monthly basis, ensuring departmental sign-off.
- Create engaging content and copywriting for all social channels to maintain consistency and enhance user experience.
- Manage online community interactions, responding to inquiries and fostering positive engagement.
- Design and create social media tiles and assets for monthly marketing promotions.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly social media reports to inform strategy and performance improvement.
- Coordinate the internal initiatives, including video and social content creation.
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager to develop, coordinate, and execute brand photoshoots for content creation.
- Manage and optimise social ads campaigns to drive performance and meet targets.
- Act as the point of contact for B2C PR and media inquiries, ensuring brand alignment and timely responses.
- Write and distribute press releases, as well as manage quarterly product send-outs to media.
- Represent the company at conventions, conferences, and trade shows, creating social media content to showcase brand presence
- Strong understanding of the social media landscape and trends across various platforms.
- Experience in content curation and copywriting, with the ability to create engaging posts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage and track influencer collaborations, ensuring timely follow-ups and successful partnerships.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- A degree in Marketing and/or relevant experience in social media coordination or a similar role.
- Experience in PR and handling media relations, press releases, and product outreach.
