  • Remuneration: $165,273 to $190,593 pa (LEVC) (inclusive of $139,657 to $161,054 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading); or, $198,994 to $219,245 pa (LEVD) (inclusive of $168,152 to $185,264 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

    Who are we looking for?

    We are seeking a Academic Lead, Assessment and Evaluation to join Office of the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health.

    The Academic Lead, Assessment and Evaluation is an important role to develop and manage innovative, evidence-based assessment strategies for a newly established School of Medicine. This role oversees a comprehensive evaluation strategy, including tool selection, data analysis, and preparation of quality improvement reports.

    What you need to succeed

  • Completion of a PhD in higher education or health professions education or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing assessment strategies in medical education, including experience with a range of assessment methods. Established expertise in the design, implementation and evaluation of assessments in health professional education programs including the use of technology to support systems of assessment. Knowledge of evaluation frameworks for medical education and experience in curriculum mapping and alignment of assessments with learning outcomes and accreditation standards. Ability to analyse assessment and evaluation data to ensure quality, fairness and compliance with university and external accreditation requirements Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and demonstrated ability to contribute to faculty development in health professions assessment and evaluation. A strong track record in scholarship of and/or research in assessment and/or evaluation in health professions education. Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with broad stakeholder groups (professional, academic and clinical staff).
