Description:
You will provide high quality administrative support and be a liaison for technical stakeholders as part of a small team delivering Information Management and overseeing ICT functions for three agencies - National Injury Insurance Agency, Queensland (NIISQ Agency), Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) and Nominal Defendant (ND) (collectively referred to as the Motor Accident Insurance Schemes Queensland or MAIS-Q).The employing entity for this role is NIISQ Agency.
Your role
- Provide high level administrative support for Information Management and Information Security functions including:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets including laptops, mobile devices, and software licenses.
- Coordinate user account configuration by liaising with ICT service providers.
- Recording, tracking, and actioning work tasks in IT Service Management tools.
- Complete assigned tasks as part of periodic compliance checks and audits.
- Work within the team on tasks to promote sound Information Management practices across the agency.
- Create and maintain high quality technical content including:
- IT documentation, including user guides and procedures.
- User friendly content on the SharePoint intranet.
- Analyse and collate data and prepare a wide range of reports and documentation.
- Proactively review, recommend, and implement improved business processes across the team.
- Liaise with key clients and stakeholders including business managers and senior leaders across the agencies.
- Contribute positively to a respectful, inclusive and productive team environment.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a strong commitment to shared values, and a broad skillset that includes:
- Proven effectiveness in the delivery of responsive administration support services, preferably in an IT related environment
- Excellent digital literacy skills including well developed expertise in the use of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Demonstrated organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to continuously improve business systems.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and well-developed oral and written communication skills to effectively liaise with key stakeholders.
- Experience, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge of:
- asset management practices
- identity management protocols
- ITSM systems such as ServiceNow and/or Jira.
- Personal qualities including attention to detail, adaptability, a positive proactive attitude and customer focus.
