HR Driver Operator

The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking a HR Driver Operator to join our Commercial Waste team in Port Kembla. Working in a close-knit, motivated team, you will be responsible for the collection of waste and recyclables from a diverse number of client sites operating Front Lift, Rear Lift, Hook Lift & Crane Trucks.

What's On Offer

• Early AM starts - between 1AM-4AM.
• Full time permanent role in a stable industry.
• Monday to Friday shifts with optional weekend work.
  
  

What you'll be responsible for

• Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams to disposal locations.
• Operate a range of heavy fleet and equipment including front/rear lift trucks, hooklifts and HIAB crane trucks.
• Accurate completion of paperwork.
• Drive Veolia's 'Always Safe' Culture.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• HR licence with onroad driving experience.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Wollongong area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management.
• Motivation to learn and grow within a team environment.
• Respectful and a team player.
• Undergo a medical assessment, including a drug & alcohol test.
