Maintenance and Improvement is looking for an Infrastructure Services Officer to join their Maintenance Operations Team. You will assist in leading members of a team, contributing to managing the planning and delivery of maintenance programs for schools, staff housing and early childhood education and care centres. About The Role
As the Infrastructure Services Officer, you will have responsibility for, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage maintenance programs to ensure programs are delivered on time and on budget.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the progress of programs.
- Review, develop and implement policies and procedures for the improvement of infrastructure programs.
- Develop and foster partnerships with internal and external clients and service providers including QBuild, Department of Energy and Public Works, the major maintenance service provider for the department.
- Provide high level support and advice on the management of maintenance programs.
- Contribute to a positive team culture which emphasises learning and development, innovation, and inclusiveness.
- Prepare Ministerial, Parliamentary, and corporate correspondence and regular reports on the progress of maintenance programs.
- You are a team player - you are able to demonstrate how you can lead activities and support others to achieve the end goal.
- You are conscientious - you pay attention to detail, display drive for continuous business efficiencies and improvements; and are committed to meeting timeframes and customer service standards.
- You are motivated- you understand contemporary infrastructure and asset management principles and practices and have confident communication skills to provide professional advice relevant to the tasks at hand across a variety of audiences.
