Role: Part-Time Assistant Chef (Immediate Hiring)Location: Bulli Tops, NSW 2519
Hours: Approximately 30-35 hours.
Altitude1148 is a fine dining restaurant located in the Southern Gateway Centre, which is 20 mins North from the Wollongong CBD at Bulli Tops. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a keen interest in both Australian seafood and Indian curries.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu and standards
- Ensure the highest quality and presentation of food
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- The candidate is required to have their own transport as the venue is not accessible via public transport.
- Food handling certification will be a bonus.
