An opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer who is looking for longevity to join our client based in Prospect, South Australia. Joining a small and friendly team you will be responsible for the end to end accurate and timely payroll for the business.

Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, as Payroll Officer you will be responsible for complete end to end payroll services, payroll tax, superannuation and entitlement payments. Duties will include but are not limited too:
- Fortnightly payroll - 500 staff - multiple entities
- First point of contact for all Payroll related enquiries
- Establish pay rates, allowances and deductions
- Creation of employee records in payroll
- Manage accurate and timely importation of time and attendance records and other external payroll data input
- Process, checking and closure of the payroll
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Year end process
- Prepare and manage spreadsheets and payroll tax spreadsheet
- Deductions payable on a monthly basis
- Data entry and administration as required
- Run timely and accurate month end payroll reporting processes
- Ensure necessary data is provided to support timely and accurate payment to various bodies (ATO, Payroll Tax, Workcover, Superannuation, etc.)
Profile
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 4 plus years in a Payroll Officer / Specialist position
- Solid experience with Payroll systems and willingness to learn new systems
- Previous experience working across multiple entities
- Excellent communication skills
- Available to work 5 days in office 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
