About the Role
This teaching-intensive position (70:20:10) is perfect for someone who is passionate about shaping the next generation of early childhood educators. You'll design, coordinate, and deliver engaging courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, drawing on current research, digital innovation, and practical experience.
You’ll also engage with local early childhood providers, schools, and regulatory bodies — not only to keep course content relevant and responsive to sector needs, but to create authentic, practice-based learning opportunities for students.
While teaching is your primary focus, you’ll be encouraged and supported to pursue research that complements your teaching and contributes to your academic development. You’ll also have opportunities to supervise students and participate in academic governance within a collaborative and future-focused School.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A PhD (or near completion) in Education, with expertise in Early Childhood. Demonstrated success in high-quality tertiary teaching. Experience in curriculum design and course coordination. An ability to engage professionally with internal stakeholders, as well as industry connections.
