Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The Senior Account Executive, Online sales plays a vital, strategic role at LinkedIn. You'll focus on the finding ways to enable the team to flawlessly execute their campaigns as well as increase our internal net promoter score. This includes providing technical assistance, developing team members, iterating and evolving the work flows and being the point of accountability for the local team. Additionally you'll represent the larger organisation for any regional advertiser issues.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with our strategic online advertising clients and agencies based out of Australia and New Zealand
- Drive ongoing strategic marketing conversations and provide optimisation recommendations to meet client objectives
- Experiment with and codify optimisation techniques for your clients to improve performance and drive incremental revenue, while scaling those techniques for the rest of our advertisers
- Frequently and concisely share the progress of internal and external initiatives, including the business impact and recommended next steps
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build a consistent customer experience, identify opportunities to improve products/features and deliver results
- Drive revenue by successfully upselling and cross-selling
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for your book of business leveraging LinkedIn’s various tools
- Be diligent with sales process and operational excellence including forecasting, tool adoption and engagement tracking
- Inspire continued innovation by regularly sharing ideas and best practices
- Fully embrace and foster a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years media sales experience
- BA/BS degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing and customising recommendations to a large customer base
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue by successfully upselling and cross-selling
- Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform recommendations
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and work within deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated self-starter who thrives in a team environment
- Experience in selling digital advertising and knowledge of the marketing technology ecosystem
- Experience selling into or working with marketing teams and their agencies
- Track record of reaching and exceeding sales targets
