We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our capable payroll team on a part time, 53.2 hour per fortnight basis at our Head Office in Coniston. There is flexibility around hours and days, by negotiation with the successful applicant. The Payroll Officer's role encompasses all end-to-end functions related to pay- including but not limited to; processing fortnightly pays, carrying out reconciliations of leave, maintenance of personal files, interpreting awards and providing guidance to employees on a variety of payroll related matters.
About You
We are looking for a problem solver, with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail, who can work in a fast-paced environment and has great customer service skills. In a practical sense, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end payroll services in a high volume and complex environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience using payroll systems and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience in the full remit of payroll functions including superannuation, Single-touch payroll, entitlements, terminations and salary sacrifice.
- Experience in the use of TechnologyOne will be advantageous but is not a key requirement for this role.
