Positioned as a world renown, listed multinational, our client seeks to enhance its supply chain capability by driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all sites and across key functional metrics. This position traverses strategic and operational initiatives to drive efficiencies, excellence and value through the organisation both in Australia and in New Zealand.
This executive level role reports directly into the A/NZ CEO and will work collaboratively with the rest of the executive team. Taking cues from the global parent, you will be a commercially minded, technically strong, and people-focused Supply Chain Director who will lead their end-to-end supply chain operations across the region and as such are responsible for the efficient and effective management of all input and output supply arrangements.
Primary responsibilities include the development of an aligned supply chain strategy for the A/NZ business unit, driving all supply chain logistics activities and procedures. You willevaluate supply chain performance against key metrics, projected costs and timelines. To deliver key measurable metrics, you will coordinate all activities across the function and benchmark all eight sites in the region.
In this high-impact role, you'll lead planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management across a complex multi-site manufacturing footprint. You'll bring a strategic mindset, consultative leadership style, and a data-driven approach to influencing outcomes across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading integrated supply chain strategy aligned with global and regional priorities
- Overseeing production planning, procurement, logistics, and forecasting
- Partnering with key stakeholders to optimise performance and customer outcomes
- Leading and developing high-performing teams across functions
- Leading and supporting a continuous improvement agenda, driving efficiency and standardisation across the group
About you:
- 10+ years’ experience in senior supply chain roles in complex, multi-site manufacturing environments is essential
- Proven ability to influence within global matrix organisations
- Deep technical expertise across supply chain, procurement, and planning
- A collaborative and consultative leader who listens, engages and acts decisively
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering (postgrad desirable)
