About The Role
The Office of the Assistant Director-General (OADG), Strategic Policy and Legislation (SPL) performs a dual role to support the Assistant Director-General SPL and the provision of timely administrative support to the branch. The team provides a coordination, advisory and facilitation role in liaison with the individual SPL teams to enable the branch to achieve its objectives and purpose. The OADG is a fast paced, professional office, requiring our staff to have strong organisational and time management skills.
By working with us, you will be part of a team that has a crucial role to provide executive and business support to the Assistant Director-General and support the delivery of services by the Strategic Policy and Legislation Division through consultation and development of corporate relationships across the department to achieve strategic solutions. You will achieve this through providing advice, problem solving, analysis and strategic thinking.
Additionally, you will support the administrative processes associated with the proactive release of Cabinet Submissions to meet timeframes stipulated by the Department of Premier and Cabinet's proactive release policy. To be successful, you will proactively identify opportunities for business improvement and support in corporate governance, and correspondence.
