Description:
Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation, administration, and support of the IT platform. You will be a key point of escalation for technical issues and will work within an ITIL framework to ensure that IT changes are controlled and do not adversely affect the business.
- Oversee the daily operation, administration, and support of the IT platform.
- Resolve technical issues and provide escalation support.
- Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Support a diverse customer base from both office and site-based locations.
- Collaborate with other teams within the IT group.
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting and administering medium to large-scale IT environments (100-200+ servers, 1000+ end users).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Azure and PowerShell
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Virtualisation (VMWare)
- Office 365
- Data centre servers and storage
- Backup software (preferably Commvault)
- ITIL framework
