What's the role?
This key 2nd Line role that is responsible for supporting the Group Stress Testing execution for the annual Group and APRA Industry Stress Testing.
Under the current operating model, this role has no direct reports but is required to work together with the Executive Manager Stress Testing Business Analysis and Insights and their direct reports to be responsible for:
- Support Group Stress Testing execution,
- Enhancing Group Stress Testing modelling capabilities,
- Provide SME knowledge, and
- Improve current processes.
- Delivery/Technical:
- Previous experience in a forecasting or modelling role in banking or financial markets
- Strong analytical skills, high level of numeracy and ability to understand complex subject matters.
- Ability to code in Python and have a basic understanding of other quantitative coding languages.
- Knowledge of internal/external reporting would be useful
- Risk Management: Being able to identify ahead of time the risks that may impact the stress test process and to put in action plans accordingly.
- Regulatory / Industry Knowledge: At least 2 years' experience in banking or financial services.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal communication and stakeholder management skills working with internal stakeholders across multiple levels across the organisation.
- Proven Experience: R/Python coding skills are required
