Haymans Electrical is the market leading electrical wholesaler in Australia. Our Cairns Central store is currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and diligent individual to fill the role of Store Person/Delivery Driver
Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful applicants will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse, office and sales operations including goods receipting & dispatch, deliveries, inventory control and some internal sales within a busy trade sales environment.
Prerequisites for the position include a strong work ethic, motivated self-starter and the ability to be an integral member of a progressive team. To be considered you must have a current driver's license, excellent phone manner, attention to detail and an absolute focus on exceptional customer service. You may also be required to be involved in other facets of branch operations therefore the ability to develop into a multi-skilled team member would be considered favourably.
Skills and experience
Previous Experience in a similar store/warehouse environment along with holding a forklift license and or MR licence would be preferable, however an enthusiastic approach along with a desire to progress will be well regarded. Comprehensive training will be provided along with the potential for career progression for the right candidate.
