Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide strategic support and advice to the Executive Leadership team in compliance with corporate policies, standards and legislation relating to finance, procurement and contract management, governance, business and continuity planning, and administration.
• Lead and drive the program's finance and business management functions to enhance decision-making and business outcomes.
• Proactively develop and manage delivery of financial plans, budgets, forecasts, reports and advice to leaders.
• Provide a lead role in managing governance mechanisms to support procurement and contract management activities.
• Develop clear and comprehensive submissions and recommendations based on in- depth analysis of complex financial issues and data.
• Develop, negotiate and maintain relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain appropriate governance frameworks across finance and business management to monitor compliance with policy, legislation, regulations, standards and procedures.
• Oversee and deliver high quality procurement advice and services covering; procurement planning activities, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes and contract negotiation, formation, management and administration activities.
• Develop and implement business-specific procurement and contract management processes to identify, manage and mitigate risks associated with the contracts including commercial, contractual, operational, financial, performance, delivery, compliance, reputational.
• Develop timely and accurate written submissions, briefs, reports, presentations, and information papers of a detailed and strategic nature.
To be considered suitable for the role you will have:
• Experience in strategic financial planning process, including development and oversight of budgets, financial forecasting, and management reporting to facilitate informed decision-making and promote financial stability of the program.
• Conduct complex financial analyses and synthesize data to develop clear, coherent submissions, and provide strategic financial advice to leadership that supports organisational objectives and operational needs.
• Ability to undertake and oversee critical business functions such as procurement and contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and change activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in driving cost savings across an organisation whilst maintaining ethical decision making.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated high level experience and ability in consultation, negotiation and liaison.
• Ability to develop, establish, implement and maintain positive vendor relationships and engagement processes at internal and external senior strategic levels.
• High level consultative, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, as well as conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
