About the Role
We are seeking a skilled, team-oriented, and enthusiastic Specialist Anaesthetist to provide high-quality clinical and non-clinical services at SWH. This role allows you to develop your areas of interest within anaesthesia, including ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, and quality improvement.
As part of a collaborative team of salaried and VMO specialists, you will play a key role in expanding and enhancing anaesthetic services at SWH.
Position Overview
- Permanent, full-time role - 76 hours per fortnight
- Competitive remuneration, commensurate with experience
What You Bring
- AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or an equivalent specialist qualification
- Extensive experience in anaesthesia, ensuring confident practice in a regional setting
- A commitment to quality improvement and best practice in anaesthesia
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills
- Experience in training and mentoring junior medical staff
