Description:
Robert Half is exclusively engaged with a global FinTech that's scaling fast in the payments space. They're on the hunt for a hands-on Application Support Team Lead to take charge of their card issuing and payment processing apps.
This is a leadership role where you'll build deep knowledge of the platform, run a growing support team, and work closely with tech, product and ops to keep things running smoothly (and improve as you go).
What you'll be doing:
- Lead, mentor and grow a small team of analysts (currently 3, scaling to 4+)
- Own support across complex, API-driven systems and hundreds of microservices
- Manage incident flow, triage tickets, review changes, and keep the lights on
- Spot improvement opportunities and help streamline how support is delivered
- Troubleshoot down to code level (PowerShell, SQL, .NET)
- Work with key stakeholders across 5 business units
- Help build a support function that scales with the platform
What we're looking for:
- You lead support teams today and enjoy being close to the action
- You've worked in payments, financial services or high-availability platforms
- You're hands-on with tools like SQL, PowerShell and maybe some .NET
- You know ITIL/DevOps practices
- Strong stakeholder management - you're confident, thick-skinned, and focused
- You enjoy learning how things work and figuring out how to make them better
