About the role
As the Team Leader at Wilga Contracting, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled tradespeople to deliver a range of services and projects. This is a hands-on casual position in both local and remote NT, that offers flexible work arrangements to suit your needs.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and oversee work, ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within set timelines
- Allocate tasks and resources effectively to maximize team productivity
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
- Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during projects
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a team leader with a strong work ethic
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in a range of trade skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently
- Commitment to safety and a track record of promoting a safe work environment
- Ability to work unsupervised, work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Machinery experience an advantage
- Hold a truck license or willingness to get one
