The Contract Solutions branch provides a procure-2-pay service for ICT contracts to TDS and its clients. The branch is responsible for routine purchasing, tendering, contract management, vendor management and software licensing management. The branch is a results focused team supporting clients through the IT governance and controls to solve business needs through IT contracts.
What You Will Be Doing
- Plan for IT procurement by:
- working with nominated internal stakeholders to identify future procurement needs;
- researching the IT procurement need through engaging subject matter experts, reviewing industry reports/research and identifying existing contracts or arrangements; and
- drafting evaluation and sourcing strategies and reports for IT procurement needs.
- Source IT contracts by managing the end-to-end quote and tender process in accordance with the Queensland Procurement Policy and related departmental policies.
- Draft and execute IT contracts using the QITC Framework and manage by monitoring supplier performance in accordance with the contract management plan and associated policies. This includes managing emerging disputes and accurately processing purchase orders and invoices.
- Report on contract and sourcing activities by keeping registers current and publishing awarded contract details in accordance with policies.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in the branch's practices and achievement of Queensland Procurement Policy targets and raise procurement challenges with peers.
- Represent the branch as required at various forums for procurement and contract manager forums.
