Description:
As an experienced Solution Architect, you will collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to procure products and provide design expertise, enhancing user experience by improving usability, accessibility, and desirability of the solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage functional and non-functional requirements to meet business expectations.
- Develop and select effective design solutions, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders.
- Create and implement system integration strategies and plans.
- Provide specialist advisory on architectural standards, governance frameworks, and emerging technologies.
- Enhance user experience by improving usability, accessibility, and desirability of design solutions.
- Identify and assess risks, making informed decisions using our risk management framework.
- Engage and manage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

- Risk Management: Identifies and assesses threats, makes risk-informed decisions, uses risk frameworks, builds a risk-aware culture.
- Stakeholder Management: Identifies key stakeholders, understands their needs, manages expectations, leverages relationships.
Additional Requirements:
- Understanding of mining and resource extraction business operations and processes.
- Familiarity with IT and operational technology from a design, implementation, and run perspective.
- Willingness to learn about systems engineering frameworks.
Requirements:
This role requires the candidate to be located in Adelaide, South Australia.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture roles, focusing purely on designing high-level solutions across all areas of infrastructure, rather than technical implementation.
- Minimum of 2 years in an architecture role within a similar industry or process.
- STEM degree (highly desirable).
- Proficient in ArchiMate for modeling business processes and high-level infrastructure designs.
- Experienced in TOGAF for developing and managing enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Cloud Platform Solution Architect Certification (e.g., AWS, Azure) required (at least Foundation level).
- Additional certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, GIAC, or vendor-specific technology certifications are a plus.
