Description:
You will play a key role leading the delivery of a contemporary learning and development function to support the Department of Justice (DoJ) strategic business objectives by building workforce capability through leadership, individual and organisational growth.- Lead the implementation of the department's Learning and Development Strategy and Action Plan to uplift capability and grow critical talent to support delivery of the department's Strategic Workforce Plan and a high performing workforce.
- Manage, coach, motivate and develop the learning and development team to deliver best practice outcomes.
- Ensure application of contemporary learning strategies and solutions in accordance with business objectives, policy and regulatory requirements.
- Utilise effective project management methodology to plan and manage innovative and efficient learning solutions projects and ensure business benefit realisation.
- Lead and undertake learning needs analysis, plans, instructional design, delivery, facilitation and evaluation to support target learning outcomes.
- Apply high level skills to communicate effectively, consult, advise and negotiate persuasively to achieve desired outcomes on strategic policy and learning and development issues, while building and maintaining productive working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, implement and monitor performance measures, contribute to reporting, and identify areas for improvement based on data analysis.
- Prepare materials to support development of policy papers, cabinet submissions, briefings, reports and/or other documents on learning and development practices and initiatives.
