Description:

Communications Manager | Global FinTech | 12-Month Contract

Our client, a leading global FinTech, is continuing to grow and is looking for a skilled Communications Specialist to join their high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working as part of a global communications function. Reporting to the Head of Communications (AU), you’ll play a key role in supporting internal and external communications for the region.

This is a value-led organisation where you’ll be encouraged to bring your creativity to the table and take ownership of your work. You’ll be recognised and appreciated for your contributions while working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business. The role is broad, with a 70/30 split across internal and external communications, including events, campaigns, and thought leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the development and execution of internal and external communications strategies.
  • Translate complex business updates into clear, engaging content that aligns with internal culture and external brand messaging.
  • Craft high-impact communication materials such as talking points, speeches, and leadership updates for senior executives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, product, customer success, and brand.
  • Use data and insights to evaluate communications impact and improve program effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a communications role, ideally within FinTech, Financial Services, or a similarly fast-paced industry.
  • Strong track record of managing end-to-end internal communications and delivering external messaging.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage across all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead communications projects from concept through to execution.
  • Experience measuring the effectiveness of communications strategies and adjusting accordingly.
  • Confident storyteller with the ability to communicate across various channels and formats.

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate: $598.20 + Super (equivalent to $155,000 + Super annually).
  • 12-month contract with potential to extend.
  • Contractor benefits including paid public holidays, recharge days, and a full week off over Christmas and New Year.
  • Work with a high-performing team in a company consistently ranked among Australia's best places to work.
