You will….
As a Safety Reporting Specialist, you will develop the systems, processes and interfaces to support ongoing safety data analysis and reporting systems and provide high level analysis and recommendations for business requirements as well as encouraging technology, they propose changes to the way our business operates so that we can become more efficient and better at what we do. Responsible for supporting such a broad area of the business will require a high level of organization, and ability to prioritise work while maintaining relationships.
The role is also responsible for analysing methods and alternative models for presentation of risk and safety data and initiate action to solve problems and improve existing systems.
- Analysis & Reporting: Perform safety data analysis to identify trends and contributing factors. Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Systems & Tools: Maintain and continuously improve the Safety Database (Intelex) and develop dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools.
- Performance Reporting: Automate reports and deliver insights aligned to divisional scorecards.
- Modelling & Benchmarking: Use large datasets to highlight key trends or potential risks
- Collaboration & Support: Share your knowledge to uplift team capability and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- 2-5 years of experience in an analytical role, particularly in safety-related environments, with a proven ability to research and present data from various sources
- Experience in Power BI and Business Intelligence dashboard development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence decision-making and build relationships across all levels
- Experience managing datasets and presenting data clearly
- Problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking abilities
- Aviation industry experience is a plus
- Strong technical skills in Power BI, SQL, and other data analysis tools
