Skillinvest has an opportunity for a motivated candidate to undertake a Water Operations Traineeship with GWMWater, based in Horsham. The successful candidate will study a Certificate 3 in Water Operations and gain valuable industry experience.

Duties
- Liaise with customers, GWMWater personnel, service providers and the public for service requests, system faults and customer complaints
- Operate and maintain water and wastewater systems and assets within area
- Attend to service requests including main breaks, discoloured water complaints, leaking meters and meter reads
- Provide routine maintenance of GWMWater assets including planned shutdowns of water for new connections and main replacements
Requirements
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Police Check
- Logical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, requiring considerable amounts of labouring work
