Title: Senior Privacy and Access to Information Officer, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $98,787.69 to $114,807.35 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Our opportunity :


The key focus areas of this role include:

  • Assist with the identification, development and implementation of appropriate right to information and information privacy procedures and practices to ensure the ongoing efficient and effective implementation of right to information and information privacy within the team, business unit and wider organisation.
  • Provide specialist technical, legislative, and operational guidance across council to embed privacy-by-design.
  • Monitor and address complex, sensitive, and/or escalated enquiries to ensure the timely and effective resolution of issues, and help drive a culture that demonstrates Council’s commitment to customer service.

About you :
We are seeking a specialist in access to information and privacy. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to manage a high volume of applications efficiently, ensuring compliance with legislative timeframes while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and adherence to relevant policies and procedures. Resilience, attention to detail, and the capacity to work autonomously are key attributes for success in this position.
