Working closely with our Head Chef, you’ll help deliver an outstanding menu that reflects the vibrant coastal spirit of our venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard, following the hotel’s established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist in menu development, including the creation of specials and seasonal dishes.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in all kitchen operations.
- Manage and oversee food preparation during busy service periods.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and ordering.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Contribute ideas and creativity to enhance the dining experience.
- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation.
- A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative menu ideas.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (HACCP certification preferred).
