Spinifex Recruiting is seeking a mobile plant service technician for immediate start at Mineral Hill Mine, near Condobolin, NSW. Mineral Hill is a residential site, accomodation is available and DIDO support available (capped at 400km each way)
This role is not available for FIFO and there is no option for visa sponsorship. You must be onshore in Australia with full work rights at the time of application.
About the role
This position is part of the Maintenance team and provides support to surface operations including
- Provide support to the maintenance team - in-pit refuelling, greasing machines, daily checks
- Safe operation of equipment including articulated dump trucks, dozers, excavators, water cart, grader
- Pre shift inspections and minor servicing of plant and equipment
- Identify and report equipment issues
What's on offer?
- Permanent position - 5 weeks annual leave p.a.
- DIDO support is available in the form of mileage paid to Condobolin at beginning and end of swing - capped at 400km each way.
- Relocate assistance is available
- Base hourly rate $39.5714 - $42.6420 per hour, depending on experience or qualifications
- Transport from the town of Condobolin to the mine site each day is provided.
- Roster 7/7 days only - 12 hour shifts
Skills and Experience required
Previous mine site experience is preferred, candidates with industrial or manufacturing plant experience will be considered. This role will suit candidates with mechanical aptitude, light or heavy vehicle experience, trades assistant, or incomplete trades. In addition:
- self motivated, safety focused and good team player
- Current police check or able to obtain
- Able to pass mining pre employment medical
- Current work rights in Australia - Must be perm resident or citizen
- Current driver's licence, White Card
- HC/HR licence desirable but not essential
