What We Are Looking For:

  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience as a leading hand or supervisor in landscape construction, with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
  • Organisational Skills: Great time management, an organised approach to your work and hands-on work ethic.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of landscapers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Manage resources, including materials and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure project goals and specifications are met.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain exceptional standards of workmanship.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in landscape construction with a proven leadership role.
  • Knowledge of landscaping tools, machinery and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and technical drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

About the role:

  • This is a Landscape Construction Leading Hand role
  • This role involves Landscape Construction skills, duties are varied and include preparing of work site, paving, decking, planting, mulching, turf work, operating irrigation watering systems and more.
  • Experience in the use of a range of Landscape Construction tools, plant and equipment is essential
  • Hands-on role, daily communication, basic admin tasks, WHS, communicating with other staff members
  • Must be willing to travel from the Central Coast to Sydney job sites
  • Manage a small team and run Landscape Construction jobs
  • Ideally you would have Cert III in Landscape Construction
  • Well experienced Landscape Construction labourers encouraged to apply
