Sussex Inlet Bowling Club is located on the picturesque South Coast Region of New South Wales, overlooking the magnificent water views of the Inlet. We pride ourselves on providing a ‘home away from home’ feel in our club, so that members and patrons feel they are in their own lounge room when at the club, enjoying a meal, a drink or one of our many social and entertainment offerings. We are your one stop venue for lawn bowls, fishing, junior sport, entertainment and community involvement.
The Club has over 3000 members, a bistro, restaurant, three function rooms, two bowling greens, main lounge, sports area, outdoor seating area, playground, two bowling greens with viewing areas and gaming room.
The restaurant seats up to 100 people, 50 people inside the bistro, 250 people in the Auditorium and 120 people in the main club lounge. The three Function Rooms that cater for all types of functions, from small groups to events of up to 250 people. The outdoor area has BBQ and Bar facilities and able to hold all types of events and functions. We are looking for a Contract Caterer who is able to manage the total food offering throughout the club. The Club's Management team and Functions Co-ordinator will offer support to the new Contract Caterers and work together as a team to ensure only the best customer service delivery. The kitchen has all facilities allowing versatility and the ability to cook for large numbers. We are looking for any type of cuisine and would be happy to include options such as traditional Pub/Club food, Asian food, Mediterranean food or any option that suits your business (and ours).
Sussex Inlet Bowling Club i s looking to uphold its valued profile on the South Coast by offering first class catering for all its functions and catering needs. It is imperative to offer versatility and professionalism, whilst focusing on presentation and quality of food. The Bistro and restaurant are open every day for Lunch and Dinner and Functions are available seven days per week. The Club closes Christmas Day.
Applicants must meet the following criteria;
- A proven history of providing meals of high quality and wide variety at competitive prices.
- A willingness to provide daily specials at reasonable prices.
- Ability to cater for the bistro and functions up to 300 persons simultaneously.
- Able to meet deadlines and have excellent time management skills.
- Be fully compliant with HACCP, WHS and all other relevant legislations relating to food, hygiene, and employment.
- Ability to build good relationships with members and guests both through service delivery and by employing well trained staff committed to customer service.
- Work closely with Management to ensure outstanding service delivery.
- Assurance that the business owner is on site and manages the food and service quality along with all other aspects of their business.
- Demonstrate strong business wisdom to grow the mutual businesses.
- Be focused on longevity.
- Proven functions experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to add versatility to menus.
- Maintain high levels of presentation and cleanliness.
