About the role
In this role you will assist with planning and implementing projects that are aligned to the strategic direction of West Moreton and the Strategic Project and Planning Team. You will organise, coordinate and manage all administrative aspects for the Strategic Project and Planning Team in a timely and professional manner.
About the Strategic Projects and Planning Team
The Strategic Projects and Planning team at West Moreton Health (WMH) sits in the Chief Strategy Office. We support the development and implementation of WMH's Strategic Plan and Clinical Services Plan. We do this by supporting the Board and Executive through their strategy development process and then by developing transformational service plans and supporting clinical redesign and improvement projects with clinical teams.
We also support the organisation using a Program Management Office (PMO) model to report on progress against strategic projects through the Transformation Committee and provide assurance to organisational processes when required.
Our team houses experts in clinical redesign, change management, project and program management, corporate planning and service planning.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge of contemporary project management methodologies.
- High level communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members and liaise effectively with a diverse range of groups and stakeholders.
- Proven capacity to work both autonomously and as a member of a team, ability to cope in a high volume environment, consistently meed deadlines and adapt to change using initiative, organisation and planning, time management and problem solving skills.
- High level written communication skills including ability to provide Secretariat functions as required.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project to prepare reports, presentations and Gantt Charts, collate data and analyse information.
