About the company
We are a busy Japanese cuisine located in regional NSW, Dubbo. We are dedicated to serving
freshly made Japanese dishes to our customers and provide catering services for diverse range
of events, including corporate functions and many more.
We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced chef to join our team. The role will be
responsible for planning menus, supervise the preparation of cooking, production and
presentation of dishes, as well as overseeing the work of other kitchen staff. You will also be
responsible for ensuring the high standard and quality of the food production are maintained,
managing kitchen stocks and catering requirements are met at all times including cooking, time
constraints and any special dietary requirements. You will be required to plan new menus, teach
cooking skills and procedures to new staff, delegate duties, ensuring safe work practices are
understood and upheld by kitchen staff.
Candidates are required to have a relevant qualification at the required level for chef and at
least three years of relevant work experience. They are expected to have a strong work ethic
and commitment to a career as a chef in the hospitality industry.
- Qualification at least AQF Diploma in related field; and
- At least three years of full-time highly relevant work experience

The role will be responsible for;
planning menus
Monitor kitchen facilities and equipment, including storing and preserving ingredients;
Produce various of high-quality dishes using different cookery methods, kitchen utensils,
and kitchen equipment;
Monitor quality of food ingredients and uphold safety regulations;
Observing special dietary requirements;
Manage from preparation of raw ingredients to portion and presentation;
supervise the preparation of cooking, production and presentation of dishes, as well as
overseeing the work of other kitchen staff.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the high standard and quality of the food
production are maintained,
managing kitchen stocks and catering requirements are met at all times including
cooking, time constraints and any special dietary requirements.
You will be required to plan new menus to be introduced, teach cooking skills and
procedures to new staff, delegate duties, ensuring safe work practices are understood
and upheld by kitchen staff.
