About This Role
Our clinic in Wagga Wagga is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team.
The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:15am - 8pm. The initial hours during training will be 8:30am – 5pm.
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
Once fully trained, you will have the opportunity to also be trained as a Contact Centre Agent, your responsibilities will include:
Answering inbound phone calls for appointment bookings.Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.Effectively managing the appointment calendar.
What we're looking for:

✅ Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
✅ Experience in customer service or medical receptionist.
